Piping & Mechanical Construction Management

Piping and mechanical construction management for one of the largest gas development projects in the world, encompassing erection of 350,000 diameter-inch piping (4–53 mm wall thickness) and installation of 700 tons of pipe supports across five process units, including export gas, propane and butane, caustic, and NGL fractionation areas.

Execution was directed across four subcontractors and a workforce of approximately 700 personnel, with scope spanning site mobilization, resource and manpower planning, and coordination of interfaces across construction, QA/QC, and field engineering disciplines.

Progress was governed through structured look-ahead scheduling and weekly subcontractor coordination, with schedule risks identified proactively and resolved through corrective action planning, underpinned by rigorous technical and contractual oversight of subcontractor performance and claims.

Mechanical completion was driven through systematic closeout of pipe work, test package execution, and hydrotesting, culminating in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities including system cleaning and drying, reinstatement, leak testing, and inerting — delivering safe, code-compliant handover across all five process units.
