EPCI Canada Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to perform inspections on rotating equipment, mechanical packages, industrial machinery, pressure equipment, and manufactured components throughout fabrication, construction, installation, and commissioning. The successful candidate will help ensure compliance with engineering requirements, quality standards, and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspect mechanical equipment during manufacturing and installation.
• Verify dimensions, alignment, assembly, testing, and installation.
• Review drawings, specifications, inspection plans, and quality documentation.
• Witness FAT, SAT, commissioning, and performance testing.
• Prepare inspection reports and NCRs.
• Support project handover activities.
Qualifications & Experience
• Mechanical Engineering diploma or degree.
• Five or more years of industrial mechanical inspection experience.
• Experience with rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, turbines, valves, and industrial packages.
Technical Knowledge
Mechanical equipment inspection, dimensional verification, alignment, vibration, pressure testing, quality assurance, commissioning, engineering documentation, and applicable ASME, API, CSA, and ISO standards.
