Mehdi Masoudfar is a mechanical engineering professional with more than two decades of international EPC experience spanning design, procurement, fabrication, construction, QA/QC, and commissioning support across oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, and industrial sectors.
His career began on major gas developments supporting global operators, where he developed strong foundations in field execution, hydrotesting, underground and aboveground piping systems, welding compliance, NDT coordination, vendor surveillance, and manufacturing audits. Over time, his scope expanded into full lifecycle piping engineering — including 3D model review, routing optimization, flexibility coordination, constructability assessment, mechanical completion, and advisory support in field engineering, quality control, and pre-commissioning across both greenfield and brownfield environments.
He has operated across multiple continents within high-governance project environments, supporting multi-billion-dollar developments, complex brownfield revamps, vendor workshops, and third-party inspection mandates. His expertise bridges engineering intent with execution reality, ensuring systems are not only code-compliant, but constructable, testable, and technically defensible.
In recent years, since 2017, he has served in senior design and QA/QC advisory roles on major North American projects — delivering design and engineering consultation, manufacturing inspection services, comprehensive Manufacturing Data Report (MDR) reviews, development of structured field turnover systems, field execution leadership support, hydrotest management, and pre-commissioning readiness verification.His approach is grounded in disciplined execution, lifecycle awareness, and risk-based decision-making — ensuring quality is engineered, verified, and controlled from initial design through final handover.
